Join me as I live and work in each of the 50 states!

what it is

I will be living in each of the fifty states and working at a local business in each one. Along the way I'll be making stops in National Parks and discovering the hidden gems that make each state unique!

The goal of this journey is to learn as much as possible about the United States of America... one state at a time! In each state I will meet new people, eat new foods, and discover new possibilities.

how it works

I will be living in my 16ft camper with my dog Sunny. Parking in different parts of every state to discover what they have to offer. Hang out with us as we travel from state to state. Stay up to date by following our social media accounts and reading the blog below!

My time in Arkansas brought me many surprises. I had no idea what to expect as I made my way into the state, and I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty that I found! I spent most of my time in the Ouachita Mountains, and I didn't want to leave. The area is home to an abundance of natural springs and some of the most delicious water that I have ever tasted. I was able to do lots of exploring just within this little region of the state. Outside of the mountiains I also made trips to the town of Hot Springs, where I was able to explore the national park and learn about the rich history of the springs. I also went to Little Rock and immersed myself in the city's culture. I found some amazing food as well as beautiful art. From there I made my way north and spent time camping on the Buffalo National River. I was able to kayak through lots of unique rock formations and valleys, it was fantastic. During my time in Arkansas I did lots of swimming and saw some gorgeous water features. As I made my way out of the state, I was lucky enough to spend time in Bentonville, a cute little town. Throughout the month I stopped and chatted with a wide variety of Arkansans and I enjoyed their friendly and welcoming nature, they were quick to offer a helping hand, or just visit about everyday things. Overall, my month in Arkansas was a good one, and I look forward to going back someday.
